Tracy's Story

My love for table-settings, creativity, and entertaining began with my mom and grandmother.  My grandmother spent much of her life hunting for interesting decor and dining accessories from dealers and estate sales.  She enjoyed the way these items create unique atmospheres and inspire conversations. Her treasures contributed to many festive events, and as a result, my memories of her.  A lifelong photography, architecture, and tree enthusiast, she considered herself an artist who created almost faeryland-esk environments that mythology's Puck would find familiar.
As a young child I remember her summer parties – walking from group to group of relatives and laughing friends.  Everyone scattered around her lush yard filled with shady sycamores, flowers, decorative ponds, a tree swing, and even an old stone well with a crank-style bucket.  In December, ornaments, colorful lights, candles, garlands and mistletoe decked every inch of her home.
These warm memories of happy gatherings and creative atmospheres inspired me as I pursued my interests in art, illustration, and fashion design.  Living in the Midwest and South while attending art and design schools, and working on numerous brands, I've internalized these influences unique to my path.  While personally rewarding, it's even better to share my experiences with others so they can create their own happy memories.  Which is why my mom and I joined forces to offer these products.  We want to pass on the values and delightful experiences my grandmother passed on to us.
I believe one secret to a satisfying life is sharing experiences with others.  By enriching these connections with fun projects, happy colors, and inspiration ideas I hope you will explore your own creative side and bond over happy conversations and laughter.  I invite you to hunt through the patterns and products we've worked hard to make available, and get inspired by some of the fun table setting ideas scattered throughout this site.  Thank you and enjoy!
